Lyrics:
Came home from Japan
On your own when you landed
I don’t know how it happened
You got me spinning round for you
To tell you the truth
So you can’t say I didn’t warn you
I’m bad but I’m good
I’ll be so good to you
Hey, yeah
Oh I’m on a roll
Hey, yeah
Steady as she goes
I won’t make
This a touch and go
But don’t wait
For me to come home
I’m gonna break her down
She don’t mind, at all
She don’t mind
I’m gonna break her down
She don’t mind, at all

  1. great song !! I heard that on chilltrax and just bought it, instrumental is also stunning … thank you Tycho for this great time and part of my life when I am listening to your songs 🙂

  2. I think Tycho having vocals too is just natural progression. I like it and I think there’s a wider appeal to the music because of it.

  3. OMG… I love this. I'm OBSESSED with this song… and her voice and the chorus and the sound. You could fly, really, while listening to it.

  4. As a hardcore shoegaze fan I approve. 👍
I disagree with some of the comments.
I think the exploration of vocals takes Tycho to a whole new level of artistry. The whisper style works great. Maybe even more blurring of the vocals would enhance the effect like old-school MBV, Slowdive or even Ulrich Schnauss Goodbye Album. (Tycho – Kevin Shields collab anyone? 🙏)
I greatly look forward to more exploration of this to see what kind of interesting dreamy effects are in new albums.
